The elevated dog @ Deano and Sharon's wedding

An all-time great photograph! (I'm afraid I can't claim photographic credit for that one)

Crystal Palace Dinosaurs

I love this. Have always had a fascination for the great Crystal Palace exhibition, the moving of it from Hyde Park to 'Crystal Palace', and the tragedy of its destruction. And the anatomically incorrect dinosaurs are wunderbar.

Makes me laugh every time

HC at the market in Ljubljana

Always a very happy experience! HC discussing buying the boys and girls (herbs and flowers respectively) - taken on cheap cameraphone hence the appalling video quality

More cameraphone vids

Though I think this one of the car wash and Radiohead is strangely moving. Shame about the shite video quality but hey ho.

Slovenia vids!

This time it's Boris discussing Mother Theresa and bringing the potato to Europe...

More old Slovenia vids!

This is from a great night out in Tolmin with Blaz, where we got to try on the old pub owner's old Yugoslav army kit! Quality!

Family lunacy in the snow at Bridge of Allan

This was Boxing Day 2009, at Bridge of Allan Golf Course, the Olympic standard sledging venue. Except we didn't have sledges. We had a sheet of plastic and a devil-may-care approach to health and safety. We stuck it to 'The Man' that Christmas. And we didn't even pay our green fees.

My new favourite picture

It's just so wrong it's almost right.

Pivka Barracks, Slovenia

This is something I did a couple of years ago while living in Slovenia.

The site is now being turned into a military museum, but at the time was lying derelict. I'd always been fascinated by the place, and indeed it has a fascinating history, both as part of Yugoslavia under Tito, and a place of strategic importance going back to the days of the Hapsburg Empire, as a key link between Vienna and Trieste. I only had a little olympus point and shoot at the time, and it could do with editing, but i still quite like the results.
